Bryan Dyck was born in 1975 to Ray and Linda Dyck. He grew up on a farm outside of Leaf River. He accepted Christ at a young age, around 6 or 7. He went to Byron Baptist church, now Cornerstone, that planted LRBC. He has been a charter member of Leaf River Baptist Church since the day it started in 1984. Bryan graduated from Forreston High School in 1994 and again from Wyoming Technical Institute for Diesel Mechanics in 1995. He married his high school sweetheart and the love of his life, Raina Dyck, in 1998. They have two children, Nathaniel (Nate) and Elizabeth Dyck. Bryan and Ray still farm together today just north of Byron, where Bryan and Raina live.
When the first building burned back in 1999, Bryan joined the building committee and then was asked to join the Deacon board. Bryan has served in many different ways throughout the years. Pastor Randy Newton started talking to him about becoming an Elder in 2018. Bryan prayed, thought about it, and really started feeling the Lord pull him in that direction. In 2024, he started pursuing Eldership with Pastor Billy and the Elder board and was ordained as an Elder on Feb 9 th, 2025.
Bryan loves the outdoors, farming, fishing, shooting, and spending time with his family. Digging deep into God's word and a strong prayer time daily is very important to him. He also works at Woods Equipment in Oregon, IL.
